November 6, 2007 David Justin sets work on dancers in NYC David Justin will be in New York City November 8 - 15 to work on American Repertory Ensemble's upcoming concert, Winter's Tryst. While in NY, David, along with dancer Ramon Thielen (former principal with Dance Theatre of Harlem), will work on James Kudelka's 'Soudain, l'hiver dernier'; a duet for two men that speaks to love, lust, patience and dignity. Deborah Jowitt of the Village Voice calls this piece 'extremely moving' with 'famously heart-penetrating music.' David will also be setting his dark and comic love scene 'Imagine That' on Thielen and Laura Feig (Tharp's Movin' Out, Lead). Performances will be in Austin TX, Jan 18 and 19, and Mazatlan Mexico Jan 25. See ARE's Upcoming Events for details.
